Part II.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. O Allah! l have intended to invoke blessings on the Prophet (May Thy blessings and peace rest on him), in compliance with Thine order, and as a token of respect and reverence for Muhammad, Thy Prophet and our master; accept it from me by Thy grace and kindness; remove the veil of negligence from my heart and make me one of Thy righteous  bondmen.

2. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on Muhammad, our master, on his progeny and his companions, in the number which is in Thy knowledge such blessings as may continue for ever, eternal as Thy kingdom, and vouchsafe peace to them all.

3. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say: "Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets ( i.e. the Final Prophet on whom the line of prophets is closed); and Allah has full knowledge of all things." (Quran. Surah 33: Ayah / Verse 40)

4. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst reveal: "It is He Who hath sent His Apostle (Muhammad) with the Guidance and the Religion of Truth (Islam), that He may make every (other) religion find its own original form (in it), however much those who set up peers to Allah may be averse.''

(Q. 9:33)

5. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou  didst say : "We have not sent thee  (O Muhammad ) but as a Universal Messenger to all mankind, giving them glad-tidings (of rewards of Faith), and warning them (against the punishment of unfaith), but most men have not realised it (as yet)." (Q. 34:28)

6. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say: "Now hath come unto You from Allah a Light (Muhammad), and a clear Book of illumination (Quran) wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His Good Pleasure to way of peace; and leadeth them out of darkness (of unfaith), by his decree, to the light (of Faith) and directeth them to a straight path (of success in life)”. (Q. 5:15-16)

7. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say: "O mankind! the Apostle (Muhammad) hath come to you with the Truth (Islam) from your Lord; therefore believe in him, it is best for you. But if ye do not believe still, mark!  (Allah is Independent of all things), to Allah (alone) belong all things in the heavens and on earth; and Allah is All Knowing, All-Wise." (Q. 4:170)

8. O Allah!  May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: “(O Muhammad) say: “O mankind! Verily, I am the Apostle of Allah to you all (the Apostle of) Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. (Make it clear to yourselves that) there is none worthy of worship except He. It is He that giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Apostle, the 'Ummi' (who could neither read nor write but gave the highest knowledge and wisdom to mankind in the form of the Quran) Prophet, who believeth in Allah and His Words; so follow him that ye may be led aright." (Q. 7:158)

9. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "Say: O mankind! Now Truth has definitely come to you from your Lord. Those who receive guidance, do so for the good of their own souls; but those who choose to err, only err to their own loss; and I am in no way responsible to protect you (from the consequence of your doing).” (Q. 10:108)

10. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "(O Prophet! say to them), 'obey Allah, and obey the Apostle:  but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty (of preaching his mission) placed on him, and ye are responsible for the duty (of Obedience to him) placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be guided aright. But the Apostle has no other duty than to convey the message (of truth) plainly." (Q. 24:54)

11. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, obedience to whom Thou didst regard as obedience to Thine Ownself and say: "He, who obeys the Apostle, obeys Allah indeed; but if any turn back, (the Apostle is not responsible, because) We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds)." (Q. 4:80)

12. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "Say (to them), 'I ask of you no recompense for this (my preaching), except this that each one (who is convinced of the truth of the message) may take a (straight) path to his Lord." (Q. 25:57)

13. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "Say (to them); 'l do not ask any reward from you (for my preaching): (all that I do) is only in your interest.  My reward is the affair of Allah only: and He keepeth an eye over all things." (Q 34:47)

14. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say: "Now hath come to you an Apostle from amongst yourselves: it grieves him very much that ye should perish (due to wrong living with its consequent sufferings). Ardently anxious is he for your welfare, and to the believers is he most compassionate and merciful." (Q. 9:128)

15. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say:  "Thus it is by the mercy of Allah (0 Muhammad) that ye deal gently with them. And had ye been harsh in speech and hard-hearted, they would have certainly fled from around you. So, pardon them and ask Divine forgiveness for them, and consult with them upon the conduct of important affairs. And when ye are resolved, put your trust in Allah (and do not hesitate), surely Allah loveth those who trust (in Him)." (Q. 3:159)

16. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master to whom Thou didst reveal: "O ye who believe! Respond to the call of Allah and the Apostle when he calleth you to that which will give you life".  (Q. 8:24)

17. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: ''Verily, they who pledge their fealty to thee (O Muhammad!), pledge indeed their fealty to Allah alone: the Hand of Allah rests on their hands." (Q 48:10)

18. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say: "So take whatever the Apostle gives you, and deny yourselves that which he forbids you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in punishment." (Q. 59:7)

19. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say : "Those who vex the Apostle of Allah, for them there is a painful doom."  (Q. 9:61)

20. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say:  "Address not the Apostle (familiarly) even in the manner ye address one another among yourselves. Surely, Allah knoweth those of you who slip away under shelter of some excuse (from his assemblies). And let them beware who conspire to evade the Apostle's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous chastisement overtake them (in future)." (Q. 24:63)

21. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say: 'O believers! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet and speak not loud to him as ye speak loud one to another, lest Your deeds become vain while ye remain unaware of it". (Q. 49:2)

22. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say: "They who lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Apostle, their hearts has Allah tested for piety; for them there shall be forgiveness and a high reward." (Q. 49:3)

23. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst reveal: 'O ye who believe! Be mindful of your duty to Allah, and believe in His Apostle (Muhammad), He will grant you a double portion of His Mercy. He will provide for you a Light to walk in aright (safe from excess and exaggeration). and He will forgive you (your sins), for Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Q. 57:28)

24. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say: "Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah an Excellent Model (of conduct) for all those who lay their trust in Allah, and believe in the Day Hereafter and remember Allah much." (Q. 33:21)

25. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "Say (O Muhammad): If ye truly love Allah, then follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: for Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Q. 3:31)

26. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, whom Thou didst honour with the function of conveying these glad tidings : "Say (to thy people, O Muhammad!), O my servants who have indulged in excesses, despair not of the mercy of Allah! for Allah indeed forgiveth all sins: He is indeed the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Q. 39:53)

27. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, whose following was given the honour of a Diadem in the necklace of nations, of which Thou didst say: "And likewise have We moulded you into a model society that ye might be a pattern unto all mankind, even as the Prophet hath been a pattern unto you." (Q. 2:143)

28. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst reveal: "He who obeyeth Allah and His Apostle (Muhammad), hath indeed attained a high attainment." (Q. 33:71)

29. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, and on his progeny and companions, out of regard for whom Thou didst say:  "Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah; and his comrades are stern against the disbelievers, but merciful amongst themselves. Thou (O Muhammad) seest them bowing and falling prostrate (in prayer), imploring grace from Allah and (His) good pleasure. On their faces are their marks.  (Being) the traces of their prostration. This is their picture (as visualised) in the Torah, and the Evangel. (The believers will prosper and look) like a sown seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, filling the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result (of their prosperity), it fills the disbelievers with rage at their sight. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds, forgiveness and a great reward."

(Q. 48:29)

30. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, whom and whose following Thou didst honour with the function of conveying Thy glad tidings: "On that Day Allah will not let the Prophet and those who believe with him, feel humiliated. (On the other hand, they shall be honoured since) their light (of Faith) shall run before them and by their right side, and they will say, 'our Lord!

31. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, on whose Apostleship Thou didst take the oath and address him as: "Ya-Sin! By the Quran, Full of Wisdom! Surely, thou art of the order of apostles, pursuing a straight path." (Q. 36:1-4)

Therefore announce to the believers, that they shall have from Allah high favours." (Q. 33:45-47)

35. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master to whom Thou didst say: "Nun! By the Pen and what they write therewith. Thou (O Prophet!) by the grace of thy Lord, art certainly not mad or possessed! Verily for thee is a reward unfailing (for thy preaching); for thou indeed standest on an eminently exalted standard of character." (Q. 68:1-4)

36. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "When thou didst throw, it was not thou who threw, but Allah threw·" (Q. 8:17)

37. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "Have We not expanded thee thy breast (in Knowledge) according to Shar-he Sadr), and relieved thee of thy  burden (of Mission's anxieties),  which had weighed down thy back; and We raised high for thee the talk about thee (in the form of Salaat and Salaam from Allah, from Angels and from men). So verily, with every difficulty, there is relief. Verily, with every difficulty, there is relief. Therefore, when thou art free from thine (immediate task) still labour hard, and to thy Lord, turn all thy attention." (Q. 94:1-8)

38. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "By the glorious morning hours, and by the night when it spreads (its darkness)! thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased with thee. And what is to follow shall surely be better for thee than what is past. And soon will thy Lord grant thee (that with which) thou shalt be well pleased. Did he not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter? Did He not find thee struggling to find the right way, and direct thee? Did He not find thee in want and free thee from it? Therefore, the orphan oppress not; therefore one who asks (for help) chide not; and speak freely of the bounties of thy Lord."

(Q. 93:1-8)

39. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: " Verily,  We  have  granted thee (O Muhammad) a manifest Victory, that Allah may forgive thee thy lapses of the past and those to follow (or thy earlier and later lapses) and consummate His blessings on thee, and guide thee on the straight way (of action), and that Allah may help thee with help containing honour and power."  (Q. 48:1-3).

40. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst say: "Surely, We have granted thee 'Kausar' (The Fount of unbounded knowledge and goodness). So pray unto thy Lord (in gratitude), and offer sacrifice. Surely, thy enemy alone (and not thou) will be cut off (from future hope and good remembrance)."

(Q. 108:1-3).

41.  O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, out of regard for whom Thou didst say; "Glory be to (Allah) Who did take His Servant (Muhammad) for a journey by night from the  Sacred Mosque (Kaba at Mecca) to the Farthest Mosque 'AQSA' (at Jerusalem) the precincts of which We have blessed in order that We might show him some of our signs; for He is, the One Who heareth  and seeth (all things)." (Q. 17:1).

42. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, to whom Thou didst reveal: "By the star when it setteth. your companion erreth not, nor is he misled.  Nor doth he say anything of his own accord. It (the Quran) is nothing else than a revelation revealed to him. The Mighty in Power hath afforded him the knowledge thereof - the Lord of Wisdom. So (equipped), stood he well poised (with the Perfect vision attained), at the highest horizon. Then he drew nigh and hung (by Him), till he was at a distance of two bows' length or even nearer. And He revealed to His servant that which He revealed. The heart (of the Prophet) distrusted not what he beheld. Will ye then dispute with him concerning what he beheld? For, indeed he beheld Him yet again (at a second descent), near the Lote-tree lying farthest (beyond which none may pass). Near it is the Garden of Rest. When the Lote-tree was being enveloped by what it was to be enveloped with (a mystery, not disclosed); his sight did not blink nor did it miss anything. Indeed, he beheld clearly the greatest of the signs of his Lord."    (Q. 53:1-8) ·

43. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on Muhammad, our master, and on his Progeny such blessings by means of which Thou mayst deliver us from all anxieties and calamities. Thou mayst satisfy all our needs; Thou mayst cleanse us of all our evils; and thanks to which Thou mayst grant us high rank and status in Thy Presence; and Thou mayst lead us to the utmost limits of our aspirations and capacities, in whatever is good in this world as well as in the Hereafter, as Thou hast full power over all things.

44. Glory to Thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power; (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him); And peace be on the Apostles! And praise be to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of All domains of existence. (Q. 37:180-182)
