Part III

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1. O Allah! I have intended to invoke blessings on the Prophet (may Thy blessings and peace rest on him), in compliance with Thine order, and as a token of respect and reverence for Muhammad, Thy Prophet and our master; accept it from me by Thy grace and kindness; remove the veil of negligence  from my heart; and make me one of Thy righteous bondmen.

2. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on Muhammad, our master, on his progeny and his companions, in the number which is in Thy knowledge - such blessings as may continue for ever, eternal as Thy Kingdom, and vouchsafe peace to them all.

3. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is indeed the Exalted Herald of Glad tidings for the believers (in Allah and His Apostle) as Thou didst say: " And announce the glad tidings to the believers that they shall have high favours from Allah. (Quran. Surah 33: Ayah / Verse 47). Allah is full of graciousness towards the believers." (Q. 3:152).

4. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is indeed the Exalted Herald of Glad tidings for those who surrender unto Allah as Thou didst say: ''And strive strenuously in the cause of Allah in a manner worthy of striving for Him (with sincerity under discipline).  He hath chosen you for distinction and hath not laid on you any hardship in matters of religion; it is the Faith of your forefather Abraham. (Remember), He (Allah) designated you Muslims aforetime and in this (Book also, you are designated so) in order that the Apostle may be a pattern for you, and ye be patterns for mankind. Therefore, observe Regular Prayers and pay the Poor-due and hold fast to Allah. He is your Patron, a gracious Patron and a gracious Helper!     (Q. 22:78)

5.  O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is indeed the Exalted Herald of Glad tidings for his following as Thou didst say: ''Ye are the best of nations; raised up to be a model for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah." (Q. 3:110)

6. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is indeed the Exalted Herald of Glad tidings for the Missionaries as Thou didst say: ''And from among you (Muslims), there should be a party who shall invite mankind to good, and enjoin right conduct, and forbid indecency; and these are they who will be a force for progress and success." (Q. 3:104)

7. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is indeed the Exalted Herald of Glad tidings for the witnesses (of Truth) as Thou didst say: "And when they listen to that which hath been revealed unto the Apostle, thou seest their eyes overflowing with tears, because of their  recognition of the Truth:  They say : Our Lord ! we believe; write us down among those who bear witness. (Q. 5:83). Our Lord! We have believed in what thou hast revealed, and we follow the Apostle (Muhammad). Enroll us therefore among those who testify to the truth.'' (Q. 3:53)

8. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is indeed the Exalted Herald of Glad tidings for those who obey Thee as Thou didst say: “All those who obey Allah and the Apostle (Muhammad) shall have the privilege of companionship of those whom Allah hath blessed - of the Prophets , the Truthful saints, the Witnesses and Martyrs and the Righteous - the best company indeed! This is the Blessing from Allah, and sufficient is it that Allah knoweth all this (No matter if unbelievers deny it, Believers are on the Right)." (Q. 4:69-70)

9. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is indeed the Exalted Herald of Glad tidings for (Mujahideen) those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah as Thou didst say: ''Those of the believers who sit at home, barring the disabled, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their property and their persons, cannot be esteemed alike. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their wealth and lives than to those who sit at home. Unto all (in Faith) hath Allah made goodly promises, but He hath assigned to those who strive and fight, a greater recompense than to those who merely sit at home· Degrees of Rank specially bestowed by Him, and Forgiveness and favours from Him: Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." For them is pardon, and an honourable provision. (Q. 8:74).   (Some part of that which is  assigned to the Apostle is specially due) to  the poor Refugees who have been driven out perforce from their homes and their possessions, while engaged in seeking grace from Allah and His Good pleasure, and in supporting the cause of Allah and His Apostle: such are indeed the loyal Muslims: (Some part is also due to those (Ansars) who, before them (Muhajireen) had homes (in Madina) and had embraced the Faith before them, love those who had fled to them for refuge, and find in their hearts no desire to possess what hath fallen to their share, but prefer the Refugees above themselves, though  poverty was their (own lot): And those saved from the covetousness of their own souls, they are the ones who are truly successful in life.” (Q.  59:8-9)

As for those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, then do not follow up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury (or taunt), for them, their reward is with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. Kind words with forgiveness and the covering of faults are better than charity followed by injury (taunts). Allah is free of all wants and He is Most Forbearing." (Q. 2:261-263) The Satan frightens you of poverty and entices you for indecent means of livelihood but Allah promiseth you His forgiveness and bounties, and Allah is Ample-giving and All-knowing. (Q. 2:268) By no means, shall ye attain to piety until ye spend (benevolently on the needy) out of what ye cherish (particularly your wealth). And whatever ye give away surely Allah knoweth it. (Q. 3:92) Say: whatever wealth ye spend, let it be for the parents, and the relatives, and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer. (Q. 2:215) Alms are (specially) for the poor, who are engaged in the cause of Allah (or jn the social or moral uplift of their   people) and cannot travel in the land (for livelihood). He who knoweth them not, taketh them for well-to-do folk, because of their bearing of self respect. But you can recognise them by their features (as poor), though they ask not of people importunately. And of whatever you give in charity (to such), surely Allah knoweth it. Those who spend their wealth (in charity) by night and by day, in private and in public, shall have reward with their Lord: and they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve. (Q. 2:273-274) And hasten for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a paradise vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the righteous; for those who spend (benevolently) in ease and also in adversity, and        those who control their anger, and pardon men: surely Allah loveth those who do good. " (Q. 3:133-134)

41. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on Muhammad, our master, and on his progeny such blessings by means of which Thou mayst deliver us from all anxieties and calamities; Thou mayst satisfy all our needs; Thou mayst cleanse us of all our evils; and thanks to which Thou mayst grant us high rank and status in Thy Presence; and Thou mayst lead us to the utmost limit of our aspirations and capacities in whatever is good in this world as well as in the Hereafter, as Thou hast full power over all things.

42.Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power!  (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)!  And peace be on the apostles! And praise be to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of all the Worlds. (Q. 37:180-182)
