PART VI

 

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious. Most Merciful.

​

1. O Allah! I have intended to invoke blessings on the Prophet (may Thy blessings and peace rest on him), in compliance with Thine order, and as a token of respect and reverence for Muhammad, Thy Prophet and our master; accept it from me by Thy grace and kindness; remove the veil of negligence from my heart; and make me one of Thy righteous bondmen.

 

2. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on Muhammad, our master, on his progeny and his companions, in the number which is in Thy Knowledge - such blessings as may continue for ever, eternal as Thy Kingdom, and vouchsafe peace to them all.

 

3. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, the praised one, who is gifted with generosity and magnanimity, and also on his progeny and his companions!

 

4. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on the light of lights and secret of secrets, Muhammad, our master, who is vested with power and authority - and also on his goodly offspring and his righteous companions to the Day of Resurrection.

 

5. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who occupies the Station of Praise! O Allah! May Thy grace rest on Muhammad, our chief, who is the master of the station of manifestation! O Allah! May Thy grace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is in charge of the Fountain of Kawsar where will come people (to quench their thirst)! O Allah! May Thy grace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is gifted with generosity and magnanimity

 

6. O Allah! May Thy grace, blessings and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, of grace and beauty, excellence and perfection, of charming countenance and of eyes stained with collyrium; and of soft, smooth cheeks; one who is in charge of the Fountain of 'Kowsar' and the Spring of Salsabeel,

(in Heaven)!

 

7. O Allah! May Thy grace rest on Muhammad, our master, of gentle countenance, polished speech, upright way of life, clear argument, a descendant of Ismail, who was ever prepared to lay down his life for Thee, and on the progeny of Muhammad, our master: May Thy blessings and peace also rest On them!

8. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, the 'Ummi' Prophet of Arabia, of Qurysh Tribe, of Hashim Family, of Mecca and of Madina, who is the wearer of holy cap; the one who ascended the heavens; the one who fought holy wars (for the cause of Allah) and achieved boons and booties; the one who occupies the Station of Praise; the one who is in charge of the Fountain of 'Kowsar' where will come people (to quench their thirst); and the one ever-bowed down in supplication to his Lord-God !

9. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, of grace and beauty, excellence and perfection, glory and light; the one who is the owner of beautiful pages and maidens, storeyed buildings and palaces (in Paradise); the one who has thanks-giving tongue and a heart full of gratitude, who is the holder of the well-known Flag of Divine Unity and leader of a victorious army of followers!

​

10. O Allah! May Thy grace and mercy rest on Muhammad, our master, who is in charge of the Fountain of 'Kowsar' where will come people (to quench their thirst); the one who occupies 'the Station of Praise' one who is increasingly raised in honour, the holder of the Flag of Divine Unity, master of the Station of manifestation, ever bowed down in supplication to his Lord-God, one gifted with generosity and magnanimity, styled Muhammad (Highly praised) in. his earthly life and in the heavenly Mahmood (the Praised)!

 

11. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on one who occupies the Station of Praise, one in charge of the Fountain of Kowsar where will come people (to quench their thirst), one who is the embodiment of Truth and sincerity, the ocean of Intercession and Loyalty, wearer of holy cap and the rider of heavenly Steed, Intercessor of the Doomsday, most distinguished in the two worlds, king of East and West; Leader of the twin Sacred Centres (Mecca and Medina), Grandfather of Hasan and Husain, is Thy honoured Lover and Beloved—Abu Quasim, Muhammad, our master ) May blessings and peace of Al1ah rest on him!

 

12. O Allah! May Thy grace rest on Muhammad, our Prophet, Sovereign of the two worlds, Leader of the two Qiblas (Kaba and Jerusalem to which directions, the Prophet turned in prayers) Grandfather of Hasan and Husain, Beloved of the Lord of the two easts and two wests; who is the Desired object and Goal of Qaba-Qawsine-(the closest contact with Thee): May Thy grace, blessings and peace rest on him, his progeny and companions also!

 

13. O Allah! Lord of the Sacred precincts and outside! Lord of 'Masharul-Haraam'! Lord of the Sacred House (Kaba)! Lord of the corners of Kaba and Lord of the Station of Abraham! Convey our Salams (compliments) to Muhammad, our master and our Patron.

​

14. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on Muhammad, as he was a chaste and pure youth; Shower Thy blessings on him as he was a man of pleasing manners, and shower Thy blessings on him since the time he was a babe in the Cradle.

​

15. O Allah! Convey to the soul of Muhammad from me good wishes and greetings of peace.

​

16. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings" on (Muhammad) the Full-moon. O Allah! Shower blessings on the Light of darkness. O Allah! Shower blessings on the Key of the Abode of peace (heaven). O Allah! Shower blessings on the Intercessor for all mankind.

​

17. O Allah! May Thy grace rest on Muhammad, our master, whose light existed before creation, and whose manifestation has been a blessing for all the domains of existence: May Thy blessings and peace also rest on him!

​

18. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master and our Prophet who is light and source of glory for every apostle whom Thou hast indeed addressed: "Ya-Sin! By the Quran, Full of Wisdom! Thou art indeed one of the apostles, who have pursued the Straight path". He is the repository of the secrets of all prophets and their teachings. "Such has been the dispensation of (Allah) the Mighty, the Wise! For all saints, he is a jewel in the radiance of which they all shine: "Greetings of peace to thee from the Lord of Mercy!"

19. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, (whom Thou hast indeed addressed: "Ta-Ha. Ya-Sin, Ta-Seem-Meern, Ha-Meern", who is the Last in the order of Prophets, the Generous Apostle) who is Mercy for all the worlds and most kind and merciful for the believers; who is on all exalted standard of character: May Thy grace and peace rest on him, his progeny and his companions also to the Day of Judgement, by Thy mercy, O Thou, the Most Merciful!

20. O Allah! Shower endless blessings on Muhammad, our master, and vouchsafe peace to him as he is the mirror for Thy Essence, and the very first of Thy glories, and a manifestation of Thy names and attributes generating Thy signs and marvels.

21. O Allah! Shower blessings on Muhammad, our master, the reflecting centre of all lights; the repository of all secrets; the Grace of two worlds; Honour for this world and the next; Chief of genii and mankind, for whom is reserved the "Qaba-Qawsine" (the closest contact with Thee).

​

22. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, Thy Prophet and our master, among all prophets; on the soul of Muhammad, our master, among all souls; on the heart of Muhammad, our master, among all hearts; on the body of Muhammad, our master, among all bodies; and on the grave of Muhammad, our master, among all graves!

 

23. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is Thy secret hidden; Thy unseen treasured; manifestation of existence and the light visible. He is endowed with the Fountain at which will arrive peoples; holder of the hoisted flag of Divine Unity, who is the mediator of Adam, the Father of mankind; and who is the Intercessor on the Day of Resurrection.

 

24. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, the great intercessor, in distinction the highest, the chosen friend and select prophet; in the realm of Amr (Command) styled Ahmed (the highly praised), in the realm of creation, known as Muhammad (of high praise), and most gentle in Thy universe.

25. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on him from whose Light issued forth all other lights; and from whose knowledge of prime secret (of reality) proceeded all other secrets for distribution; and whom Thou didst raise to be a mediator between Thee and Thy creation; whom Thou hast made the 'Qibla' (direction) for the manifestation of Thy Essence and the 'Kaba' for the manifestation of glory of Thy Names and Attributes; and who first manifested by virtue of his own essence in the form of spirit, and finally in a corporeal form by virtue of his attributes; who in his outward form reflects the Law, and in his inward self reflects the Reality - May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master!

26. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, whom Thou take on a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque (of Kaba) to the Farthest Mosque (of Jerusalem), to the high heavens, up to the Farthest Limit of 'Sidrartul Muntaha' that Thou and he together appeared to assume the form of two bows meeting at the handle in close contact with each other: Thou didst show him the Greatest Sign.

27. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on him whom Thou didst send as "Mercy for all domains of existence", and declare him "the Last in the Line of prophets", and to whom Thou didst deliver "the Oft-Repeated Seven verses (of the Opening Chapter) and the Grand Quran"; whom Thou, the Holiest, didst invite for the Night-Journey, and whom Thou the Mightiest, didst bestow by nature to receive direct knowledge (from Thee), who (as the Quran describes) drew near Thee and nearer, and came so close to Thee that Thou and he together appeared to assume the form of two bows, meeting at the handle, more and more closely, and who beheld Thy countenance a second time also, and who had the privilege to lead himself beyond the Utmost Boundary (to meet Thee), and whose eyes (on beholding Thee) did not waver or blink, and being given the opportunity to come face to face, he beheld the mighty signs of his Lord-the realities of life-and to whom the cheering promise was held out of Thy pleasing bounties to come, and who was granted the title of "One gifted with the noblest character," and who is the guide to mankind along the path that is straight - Muhammad, our Chief, our patron: May blessings and peace of Allah be upon him!

28. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad who is the manifestation of the Refulgence of Thy Essence appraised in the light of Thy names and attributes; who is the reflecting centre of Thy bounteous Light in the realm of relative relations; who is the link between existence and non-existence even as (according to the Quran) "He hath made the two seas to flow freely to meet each other"; who is a link between the contingent and the Eternal in such a way that "there is a barrier between them which they cannot overpass", who is Thy Lover and Beloved whom Thou didst grant Thy attributes and names, and whom Thou didst crown with the crown of Thy sublime Viceregency; whom Thou didst take on a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque (of Kaba) to the Farthest Mosque (of Jerusalem) till at last he reached the Farthest Limit of "Sidratul-Muntaha"; and came so close to Thee that Thou and he together appeared. To assume the form of two bows meeting at the handle in close contact with each other; and was delighted to behold Thy countenance in a place where there is neither morn nor eve, where "his heart did not falsify what he beheld", and, he cooled his eyes at the sight of Thy Being where there is neither vacuum nor filled space, and whose "eyes (on beholding Thee) did not waver or blink."

29. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on Muhammad, our master, who is the Seat wherefrom issues Divine Authority, a Veritable refuge for the creatures of Allah, indeed the Tablet whereon is inscribed The basis of the Quran, in fact the Pen of the Supremely Magnanimous Sovereign, the expansive heaven of Divine illuminations, the ground on which descends Revelation, the garden of truths and realities, and the holy repository of the secrets and their subtleties - May Thy grace and peace rest on him, his progeny and companions, and blessings of Thine on us such as might draw us into Thy presence and to his (the holy Prophet's), intently beholding Thy Countenance and his Countenance also.

30. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on him (the Prophet) as he really is (in Thy knowledge) - he is not as he (looks to Us) - as he, (looks to us) he is not - such blessings as may in turn invest us with grace and beauty, sublimity and grandeur; and grant us a purified, inebriating beverage (of love) that may keep  us steady in Thy Presence, O Thou, the Majestic!

31. O Allah! May Thy grace and peace rest on him (Muhammad) who is the embodiment of the spirit of Providence; and he is not what the wavered and the heretic have said of him hardly realising that he is the centre of the Divine illuminations; and it is through his station in Life that Divine revelations, favours and help issue forth from the Primal Source of benefaction so much so that every unit of provision is multiplied endlessly! And he indeed is the Light (of Allah) through which what was to be manifest became manifest, and what was to be kept hidden, was held back from sight; and every order of existence, high and low has been designed in accordance with The plan; and (with all these significant favours of God) he is ever proud to be styled and treated as an humble creature and devoted servant, find on that account charged with the function of Apostle of Allah, and looked upon by Him as a sincere Beloved friend of His: May Thy grace and peace rest on him, his progeny and companions!

AS-SALATUL-KAMALIA

​

32. O Allah! Confer Thy sublimest grace and ever-increasing peace and never-ending blessings on (Muhammad), the best of His creatures, most perfect of Thy beings, most beautiful of the created, the best of Thy manifestations, the most glorious in the universe, most virtuous of Thy creatures, most marvelous of Thy creation, most noble in the universe, the finest among the beautiful, the first of the contingents, the most honoured of all people, of the best disposition among men, of the highest grandeur in creation, and the purest-our master, our patron, our friend: our intercessor, "our benevolent prophet, our generous apostle, Kind and merciful Muhammad, together with his progeny and companions, and, his consorts and dependants endlessly for ever.

​

33. O Allah! Bestow Thy grace, grant peace and shower Thy blessings on Muhammad our master,-such blessings by means of which Thou mayst make us safe and secure from all calamities; purify us from all errors and sins; grant us all our desired objects; raise us to higher stations; by means of which Thou mayst lead us to the utmost limits of our aspirations, in whatever is good in this world as well as in the Hereafter, for verily Thou hast full power over all things.

​

34. O Allah! O Thou Who respondeth to the cry of the suppliant! O Fulfiller of all needs! O All·Sufficient in trying enterprises! O Bestower of all bounties! O Warder of all calamities! O Forgiver of all sins! O Exalter of ranks! Respond to our prayers, fulfil our needs; be All-Sufficient to us in our enterprises; bless us our supplications; ward off all dangers to us; forgive our sins; elevate us in rank; and make us die in Islam by Thy grace and mercy, by Thy kindness and generosity, and by Thy favour, mercy and forgiveness - O Most Generous of all those who are generous; O Most Merciful of all those who show mercy! O Best of the redressers of grievances! O Best Helper of all helpers! Accept our prayers in the name of Thy Servant, Thy Lover and Beloved; Thy Friend, Thy Prophet and Apostle, Thy sincere one, the repository of Thy secrets, Thy most chosen and the best of all Thy Creation, Muhammad Mustafa-May Thy grace and peace rest on him, on all his progeny and companions every moment, to the Day of Judgement. (Amen)

AS-SALAT -UL-KIBREET-IL_AHMAR

​

O Allah! Confer for ever Thy sublimest grace, Thy never-ending blessings, and Thy ever increasing peace on him who stands at an exalted level of knowledge in the realm of the realities of human nature, and who is made fully aware of all subtleties of the Faith, and is the receptive pinnacle of Divine illuminations and the visions of His Countenance, and of the mysteries of the All-Beneficent, and who occupies a princely Station in the Sovereign scheme of things, a veritable Jewel of the line of prophets, the harbinger of the line of apostles, the most graceful of all His creation, the bearer of the high flag of honour and glory, the dispenser of eternity, the beholder of the pristine glow of Primal Light, the interpreter of the Divine Will and Word, Fountain-spring of knowledge, tolerance, and wisdom, the embodiment of the secrets of  existence, particular and universal, the very pupil of the eye of the high and the low among the creatures of God, the soul that dwells in the texture of both the worlds, the life-spring of this and the world to come, the one conscious of the high rank, apportioned to him as a devotee to God, and endowed with the highest traits of morality, a leader among the righteous and possessor of all noble qualities, the foremost among the friends of God, His great Lover and Beloved enjoying high honours, whose position is established by the clearest of arguments and proofs, upheld by miracles inspiring awe, who is of a lasting noble essence, and of a light eternal-Muhammad, our master and our Prophet, the praised in the spheres of creation and existence, who brings solution to the problems of those who perceive Him and are perceived, the beholder of God and the light and guidance for everything: he is the repository of the secret of every secret and its guidance: it was through him that the secrets of life were discriminated, and from him all lights were radiated-inwardly a Secret of life and Outwardly a Light, a master perfect, the Source of the line of prophets and the Last among them, so the first and the last, the hidden and the evident (in the scheme of prophethood), the last to come among the prophets in this world and the first to rise on the Day of Resurrection, the forbidder of the wrong and the enjoiner of the good, well-wisher and helper, patient, steadfast and thankful, eliminating evils and full of glory who grieves (for the sinners) and proclaims the glory of God, the believers and the worshipper, trusting in Allah and detached from the world, standing and bowing down before Allah, following the Divine Commandments and a pattern for others, friend worthy of praise, argument and proof, the Authority whose obedience is ordered, lowly and humble before God, righteous and seeker of Allah's help, the Truth and its proc1aimer, the Luminous, ' Ta-Ha', ‘Ya-Sin’, 'wrapped up in his raiment and enveloped in his cloak', ('Muz-Zammi1, Mud-Dassir'), the Prominent among the apostles and Leader of those who are mindful of Allah, Seal of the prophets, the Lover and Beloved of the Lord of all the worlds, exalted prophet, chosen Apostle, Arbiter, Just, Master of Wisdom and Knowledge, mighty and forbearing, most kind and merciful, who is Thine eternal light and Thy straight Path - May the grace and peace of Allah rest on him !

Muhammad is Thy Servant and Apostle, Thy sincere Prophet and lover and beloved, the custodian of Thy Trust and Thine Intimate friend, indeed Thine argument, one deeply attached to Thee and Thy confident, the foremost in doing good and the guide in the path of goodness, and the Apostle of 'Mercy-the Ummi' Prophet of Arabia, of Qurysh tribe, of Hashim family, of Bat-ha, of Mecca of Madina and of Tehama - the beholder and the beholden of Allah, good-natured devotee, the friend and intercessor; of high lineage and exalted rank, of charming beauty and imposing stature; kind and forbearing, generous and benevolent; pure in heart and mind, the blessed of God and of high station; the truthful, sincere in: friendship and trustworthy; bearer of glad tidings and a warner; the lustrous lamp, one who realised all realities perfectly and one who attained ascendancy among all mankind; one whom Thou didst make Thv lover and beloved and with whom Thou didst confide Thy secrets and grant him protection bv drawing him nigh - Thou didst finalise in him apostleship, guidance, glad-tidings, warnings and prophet-hood: Thou didst endow him with majesty and rest on him the shadows (of Thy Mercy): Thou didst make the sun return for him and cleave the moon asunder: Thou didst take him on a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque (of Kabah) to the Farthest Mosque (of Jerusalem) till at last he reached the high heavens upto the Farthest Limit of' Sidratul Muntaha, and came so close to Thee that Thou and he together appeared to assume the form of two bows meeting at the handle in close contact with each other: Thou didst show him the greatest Sign and grant him the highest achievement: Thou didst grant him the privilege of conversation with Thee, and of Thy care for him, and of beholding Thy Countenance, and of supreme mediation and intercession on the pay of Judgement - the most Frightful Day; Thou didst grant him words comprehensive in meaning despite their brevity and the jewels of wisdom. Thou didst make his community the best among all and forgive his lapses both of the past and the future. It is he who fulfilled the role of apostle eminently, delivered to mankind what was Divinely entrusted to him, strove for the welfare of his people, who dispelled their pain and suffering, who rescued them from the darkness (of unbelief); who struggled hard in the way of Allah and who devotedly served his Lord - God to his utmost conviction.

 

O Allah! Raise him to the Station of Praise which would have excited the envy of. The ancient and will excite the envy of those who have come after. O Allah! Grant him greatness and grandeur by elevating his remembrance in this world, by letting his Faith prevail among mankind, by sustaining the Law given through him, and by honouring his intercession for his people in the Life-Hereafter: Bestow on him a goodIy return and reward and perpetuate his noble influence on all, past and present; and keep him closest among all those drawn near to Thee. O Allah! Accept his great intercession; exalt him higher and higher in Thy estimation; grant him whatever he had prayed for in this world and will pray in the next, even as Thou didst grant to, Abraham and Moses.

 

O Allah! Make him the most honoured of Thy servants by virtue of his excellence, and make him the most exalted in status among those near Thee, and the most honoured among the intercessors. O Allah! Make, his argument and proof (the Quran) conspicuous, and fulfil his heart's desire in respect of the people of his House and his offspring. O Allah Grant his progeny and his people guidance and ability to follow him, by means of which Thou mayst grant joy to his eyes, and give him on our behalf better reward than that which Thou hast bestowed on any prophet from his people - and give to all prophets good reward. O Allah! Shower blessings on the Prophet, his progeny and companions, his consorts, friends, and his followers, and vouchsafe peace to them constantly, in profusion, for ever and ever!

36. O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on Muhammad, our master, and on his progeny such blessings by weans of which Thou mayst deliver us from all anxieties, and calamities, Thou mayst satisfy all our needs, Thou mayst cleanse us of all our evils; and thanks to which Thou mayst grant us high rank and status in Thy Presence; and Thou mayst lead us to the utmost limit of our aspirations and capacities in whatever is good in this world as well as in the Hereafter, as Thou hast full power over all things.

 

37. Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! And peace be on the apostles! And praise be to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of all the Worlds. (Q. 37:180-182)
